For secret Cinema

Our first project for Secret Cinema, following its acquisition by TodayTix.

A festive carousel-style immersive event - ‘Wishmas’.

They needed an extensive team, including staff for Registration, Cloakroom, Back of House, Front of House, Supervisor roles, and Sampling staff. We were able to provide everything they needed along with an additional Access Hosts to ensure a great experience for guests with disabilities or additional needs. We also had cover for their in-house Audience Experience Manager when required.

There are always challenges along the way, but The left handers have it handled!

  • Our teams were responsible for leading audience groups of between 40 and 120 around the experience itself. Whilst this could be worrying for some, it’s all just part of the excitement for our team! They adapted accordingly, factoring in the timecode nature of the event, and the challenges associated with engaging with and managing large groups of families and children. 

    With our wealth of experience, nothing fazes our teams - whether it’s a group of 40 or 120, our staff ensure that everyone has the highest quality experience.

  • The event called for nearly 12hr shifts running for 6 days each week.

    Staffing hours almost doubled from the initial 1,100 per week at the beginning, to 2,125 hours per week at the height of Christmas, with multiple requests to expand the team and a short lead time to meet demand and the success of the project - all of which we delivered seamlessly.  

  • The Left Handers booking team worked closely with the onsite team at Wishmas to deliver a continually high quality team for the intensive run through the Christmas period. We pivoted quickly to cope when festive flu began to hit the team experience-wide.

    Using our highly effective cover system, we ensured that the project was always supported despite the strong challenges posed by illness.
